Fast, and above all, safe charging are important criteria for home loaders. The basicEVO from WALTHER-WERKE guarantees the user highest security standards. The housing is made of extremely robust and weather-resistant materials, which means that the wall box can also be easily installed in outdoor areas. The metal housing fulfils the IP54 degree of protection and is therefore splash-proof. An automated DC residual current detection is also integrated. Therefore, charging overnight can be done without any concerns. Flexible charging powers up to 11kW can be operated.
The plug’n’charge technology that is integrated in the basicEVO and the permanently installed 5 meter long type 2 charging cable both enable quick and easy charging without any charging cards or app. When the charging cable is plugged in, the vehicle is recognized directly and the charging process can be started immediately. The installation of the Wallbox is also very easy: the basicEVO is already pre-wired ready for direct connection. Thanks to the light and compact housing, a single electrician can easily install the wall box. An additional benefit: the basicEVO is completely maintenance-free.
With regard to accessing the wall box, WALTHER-WERKE also relies on maximum security. Optionally, an external access lock can be set up for the basicEVO - the required potential-free contact is already integrated. In addition, before the charging process starts an identification process can be requested so that unauthorized third parties do not have free access to the wall box. Identification then takes place either via RFID, key switch or via keyboard.
The wall box also scores visually: thanks to the very pure and high-quality design of the metal housing, the basicEVO fits perfectly into any environment. Subtle and reserved: a real eye-catcher.
